		<description>Bob, I&#039;m almost sure I have a copy of volume1 Mant&#039;s bible in galway,(I&#039;m in Dublin at the moment so can&#039;t be sure) I think it belonged to my great grandfather. It&#039;s not in very good condition I&#039;m sorry to say, it may have been printed in 1823, I can&#039;t be sure of that or if its bound like your two bibles, if you would like it you may have it with pleasure. 		<description>No, I&#039;ve never found the first volume.  Well ... I&#039;ve done a bit of searching online and I&#039;ve come across some full three-volume sets and the occasional loose volume.  However, part of my problem is that most of these sets seem to have different bindings than mine.  Mine may have been re-bound at some point (very possible) or there may have been lots of different bindings in the first place (also possible).  Mant&#039;s bible was quite popular and there were several reprints (the first being in 1814, I think).  There is a full set for sale on ebay at the moment, for instance, which claims to be a first edition.  The binding is quite different to that on my copies.</description>
