I have been giving some thought to what I want to do with this blog in the coming time. I have finally come to at least one decision. I am going to separate my thoughts on writing and poetry (topics that have comprised about half of the posts to this blog so far, by far the more confused half) from the main and put them in a new secondary blog. I am motivated to do this by the fact that my posts in these areas tend to be a bit malformed. My enthusiasm for the area far outstrips my knowledge. I still want to make posts on these topics, I just don’t want them cluttering up the main blog. I want the freedom to write total crap with impunity and not have it spoil other more thought-out posts by association.
This still leaves the issue of what to do with this blog. I have an urge to delete all my previous posts and make a fresh start. There are at least a few posts I’m moderately proud of, however, and even if I were to start with a clean slate I still have the problem of what exactly it is I should write on it. I am going to give this a little more thought, perhaps I will draw up a list of potential topics. I still don’t want to make this wholly a personal diary or a link-blog (there are enough of both out there). I would like to put some content here which I feel is enhanced by my own personal slant.
Once I figure this problem out I think posts will become quite frequent.
