When she listed Irish Open Source types today, Noireen Plunkett got me thinking of some of the projects I’ve contributed to. Here’s a list of them:
- file – No coding required – data tests submitted for identifying iRiver H series database files and identifying which version of SQLite generated a specific sqlite database file – very handy as they aren’t backwards compatible.
- GLade python Code Generator (GLC) – takes Glade XML files and generates python code to generate the GUI interface described by the XML.
- Gnome Basic – many many years ago I worked on something that would compile Visual Basic source code into Linux executables. Of course the project is no more as we have Mono now.
- GTML (a HTML preprocessor) – localised to Irish, plus a few other tweaks.
I’m sure there are a few more – can’t think of them right now though!
