I actually agree with Mr. Cullen that the ban is partially because of american-style Political Correctness. And partially knee-jerk. I'm a non-smoker, and no, I don't like smoke either, but - I can understand that smoking isn't something that can be given up just like that. Smokers need to be facilitated ... their cash is as good as anyone elses. More to the point ... the majority of custom of out-of-town pubs would be smokers in this country.
