I had to abruptly shut down my PC before the weekend. Started Mozilla this morning and was informed that the Default Mozilla Profile was in use – no it wasn’t – a lock file hadn’t been deleted though.
A quick
$ find ~/.mozilla -name lock | rm
proved to be the solution.
