It’s Monday again … and things I’ve done over the weekend are sinking in … But first … I promised a few people I’d blog a little more about the eXpo last week … and I will, as soon as I get a little clarity about what actually happened !
Went mad at the weekend … went into town on Saturday with the intention of buying a suit for the wedding … maybe even a shirt and tie !!
Arrived into Louis Copeland’s shop on Wicklow St. and was well impressed with their range … so talking to one of the assistants started trying a few on … then all sense departed me …
Having looked at a number of nice suits in the E500 or so range … I tried on an Italian hand-made suit … Sinead’s eyes said it all … and without looking at the pricetag (big mistake in these cases) I said “I’ll take it …”, and only when the price was rung up did I look … almost E1100 … and that was with a discount !
And then there was bad news this morning … looks like the house won’t be ready until June at this stage, and the builders won’t name a date yet … I’m less than impressed … completely less than impressed … The house is physically there, the wiring and plumming is in place, the plasterboard has to go up but it’s essentially built … so where’s the problem lads ? Why is it going to take another two months ??
