If you’re content with the word ‘half-naked’ without being sure that exactly 50% of his body was uncovered, why quibble with a sentence that is absolutely unambiguous? It’s the construction that’s easiest to read.
It’s not entirely unlike saying From this story on BreakingNews.ie:, a sentence utterly devoid of verbs; a far more egregious abuse of the language.
