Sadly, Prince Rainier III passed away this morning after a long battle with illness. It’s sad to see this fine old man pass away, but, it leaves the very exciting prospect of his son, Albert, now holding the reins of power in the principality.
I’ve been thinking and wondering how this is going to impact on this years Formula One Grand Prix, it will certainly be a more somber affair than normal I should imagine, as Rainier was always omnipresent at Grand Prix weekends.
Hopefully, I will be back in Monaco this year for the Grand Prix, just trying to finalise plans, and actually find some people who are going to join me for a few days away!
