That looks very promising. Though Andrew West informs me that it spells out "phagspa" which is both orthographically incorrect (Phags-pa requires a space between syllables) and wrongly spelt (no initial, silent letter 'a).. The suggestion I got was mongxol tshi "Mongolian letters": i.e. printf 'Phags-pa = \uA84F\uA861\uA843\u0020\uA863\uA861\uA859\u0020\uA850\uA85C\uA85E\n'

Yeah, that's the first thing I tried. There isn't a cut-and-paste-able chunk of text which looks promising. For Tai Le there is a picture here which looks like it should be possible to puzzle out the correct underlying text from.

Did you try to visit wikipedia in those languages and see if the English version of those words you are looking for have a corresponding translation in those languages?
