I rather dislike “the community” as a term, it’s too easy to mentally substitute it as other people or useful idiots.

“We” could be a good choice, “Our community” isn’t a bad one either, “the community” distances the group from the speaker, making it an amorphous external blob.

Ok, but the immediate follow-up question is this: What word or phrase should be used in place of “the community”?

Or just the name of the company who sponsors the “community” in question. That would be the most fair, I think.
