There is a new "Common Printing Dialog" that is supposed to be used on Gnome and KDE (or so I understood) that works together with CUPS.

The dialog is currently changing since UX (Christof Noack et al.) decided how it should look like. Stay tuned :-) But for a native dialog that will only mean some checkboxes gone/added. Incidentally Till Kamppeter from OpenPrinting wants us to a) migrate to PDF output and b) use the common printing dialog as a native binding on Unix.
