		<description>This is interesting, because I have told many people to do that to speed OpenOffice.org (not really startup) but my question will be what does it actually speed up.

Another question will be what does really speed up the start-up time. Specially in Linux since the quickstart up is something we dont have there.

Having a soffice as a service on startup might speed it up generally but the issue is that 
a) is too intrusive
b) not sure if it&#039;s entirely possilbe.</description>
