Locked in a death struggle with gcj and the jclark xt.jar that the OOo XmlSearch module uses during helpcontent2 creation. The xmlhelp module seems to work, so the help content apparently gets created, it just need to be post-processed and linked (or something), and that’s where we’re failing at the moment.
Watched Ireland crush the USA, but not by as much as expected on Saturday with markmc and co. Very confusing trying to also keep an eye on Scotland vs Australia and England vs South Africa. Went to cinema afterwards, and oddly ended up seeing Italian movie Good Morning, Night
See havoc mentioning Hyperion, a book I’m a big fan of. Though was deeply disappointed after heroically figuring out what was going on to see that Fall of Hyperion went and explained it all. Enjoyed his more recent Illium as well, especially as Troy was released around the same time as I got it, which was a nice syncronicity.
A set of patches at http://people.redhat.com/caolanm/gcj/ attempt to enable gcj as java replacement for OOo build in 1.9.61 (cvs co -rSRC680_m61 OpenOffice.org and apply patches). They don’t work of course, but they nearly do. Most useful to get working is xmlhelp which nearly works, but whose hackaround currently apparently makes it go and blow up in helpcontent2.
OOo 1.9.61 and additional patches to add system-mozilla and system-boost support and fix some build/install time errors.
./configure --enable-gtk --enable-libart --enable-libsn --enable-cups --enable-fontconfig --without-fonts --with-system-zlib --with-system-libxml --with-system-jpeg --with-system-expat --with-system-freetype --with-system-curl --with-system-sablot --with-system-nas --with-system-mozilla --with-system-boost
iNONE’s are not upstreamed. Feel free to do that while I summon the strength to do it.
